The coffee that makes an impression

I have always struggled to come up with an idea for a product to sell. Many have asked if I’d like to start selling my own coffee or even open a coffee shop, but I never found it to be my calling. What I do like instead is to experience what others are creating, be it coffee from a local roastery or a home roaster.

What makes me even more happier is when a friend launches their own product. Watching their ideas turn into reality is the inspiration I look for, perhaps to launch something of my own one day. Until then, I’m going to treat it as my own launch and promote it left, right and center.

Abdullah Jalees, who also runs Art of Coffee, started curating some of his favorite coffees in vials. It was an idea that probably conceptualized somewhere along the lines of not having to go through a whole bag of coffee but rather enjoy multiple doses of 3-4 different origins for the price of a coffee bag.

What was started as a concept a few months back to now roasting and delivering to many of you, I saw The Coffee Vial develop from ideation to a ready product in my hand.

I love coffees that make an impression. Coffees that don't require you to be sensory experts and at the same leaving those who you brew for in utter sensory awe. Coffees that make you second guess if you really need to head to a cafe for that specialty coffee experience.

We, home brewers, take brewing seriously. It is a rewarding experience that allows us to indulge in the art of crafting that perfect cup of coffee. Apart from enjoying it personally myself, especially for the weekend, The Coffee Vial is perfect as a gift, especially for those that enjoy brewing specialty coffee at home.

There are three coffees and six vials featured in the Flavor Fusion Hexa Pack:

🥥 Pina Colada: — a tropical coffee with lots of lemon and black currant. Think zesty notes with vanilla and coconut to balance it out.

🍒 Abyssinian Mojo: if you need one descriptor for this coffee, it has to be fruit bomb.

🍓 Jade Disco Drip: fresh out of China, this coffee tastes like jackfruit and strawberries.

Each vial has 18g of coffee and crafted to be brewed on pour over. I like to keep things simple and use 1:15 coffee to water ratio. The first pour is 70 ml water for 30 seconds followed by two pours of 100 ml each for a totaL of 270ml.

You can now use the code TNFC at checkout to avail a 15% discount. Order your vials and let me know what you think of the coffee.
